Faith

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Faith will give you the assurance that you will have what you have prayed for despite the fact that you did not see the result with your physical eyes when you prayed. When you have prayed, believe that you have received whatever you have asked for. You will have peace in your heart after prayer. If there is no peace, don't worry. Trust God that He will honor His word and your faith. Continue to thank Him and praise Him. You know that He heard your prayer when you prayed.

I John 5:14-15 says
"and this is the confidence that we have in him, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hears us, whatever we ask , we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him."

With that kind of confidence in God, you will be praising God knowing that you have what you have asked for in prayer. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Whatever your need is, God has already provided it for you. You may not see with your physical eyes the things you have prayed for but it is there in the spiritual realm according to:

Ephesians 1:3. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ."

You have to receive it by faith. Remember what Faith is.? It is something that you have believed for - it's yours. So what do you do? Your job is to thank Him and praise God for the answer. The answer will materialize if it is financial, healing or any other material blessing that you need. Those are your needs and

Philippians 4:19 says “But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

The answer will materialize at Gods method and timing. Our job is to believe God that we have received whatever we have prayed for. That’s faith. Real faith believes what the word says. Than as we act on the word, we reap the wonderful results. The words BELIEVE is a verb. It means that we have to do something on our part.

Faith needs corresponding action.

Putting some action to what we believe will result in awesome answers to our prayers. If it is SALVATION for example, first you will hear about the message on SALVATION. God will make a way out for that person to be saved. The bible says that. If you read the book of Acts chapter 2, you will find out that when Peter preached the gospel , three thousand people were saved. You may want to read the entire chapter 2. How did the people get faith to be saved? They heard Peter preach about Jesus. In order for people to be saved, someone had to go out and do the job of preaching. Take the word out to people. Peter preached the message. In our present day, it is the believers’ responsibility to share the word to those who don't know Jesus. Saving people is not our responsibility. That is something the Holy Spirit does. But the important thing to remember is to "preach the gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit in FAITH". Believe God that He will do His part. In response to the message of Salvation, three thousand people got saved. They heard the message and they responded by accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Romans 10:9

"that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved".

However not everyone will choose to follow Jesus. That’s something an individual can decide. But the thing to remember is this. You believe first, than you receive from God whatever you believe for. In this situation, you believe God to save you. So you hear the message on Salvation, then you take some positive action by believing and confessing on the name of Jesus. Romans 10:10 says " For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness: and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation...”

Believe what God said. To believe in God is to believe His word.

Matthew 17:20 is a very powerful scripture verse that talks about receiving things from God by faith.
"...If ye have faith as a grain as a mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you..."

I have written a prayer on Faith. You may want to learn and use it in your prayer life.

Father, Thank You that You and Your word are true. I believe that all things are possible to me according to Mark 9:23. I believe that You and Your word are one. I believe that what I have prayed for will come to pass according to Your word in Mark 11:24. When it comes to receiving things from You, I am not moved by negative circumstances but only by what the Bible says. My prayer request is/are (Talk to God about your needs/desires). I receive the answer to my prayer by faith in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ, AMEN.
