For spiritual things to happen in the physical realm, it is very important to vocalize the things you want to come to pass. First you must believe the word of God and second you must say the word of God. There are times when things will happen instantly the moment you pray. But don't be upset when it doesn't happen that way. Sometimes you may have to stand your ground on the word of God for a period of time. The answer will come if you dare stand on the word of God without wavering. Stand firm believing that God hears and answers prayers. Matthew 21:22 says “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." It is vital to know that you receive things by believing first, than you will receive the answer to whatever you are praying for. Believe it first than the answer to your prayer will come to pass. A lot of people want to see the answer first than they will believe. If you are one of them in this category, you will not receive things from God using natural senses as a guide. As I said before, our natural senses play a big role in educating our minds and enjoying our lives on earth. But when it comes to receiving things by faith, the word of God comes first. Believe in the word of God second and feeling last. For physical healing, refer to the scriptures on healing. Believe the word on healing. You may want to hear sermons on healing. I believe someone doing a good teaching on the subject of healing will help us greatly. You may want to hear testimonies on healing or better still you should hear yourself saying healing scriptures. Your faith will come. Focus on what Jesus has done for you on the cross.  Matthew 8:16-17 says 

"When the evening was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with the devils: and he cast out the spirit with his word, and healed all that were sick. That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses." 

Jesus healed all who came to him. So many hundreds of years earlier, the prophet Isaiah said in the book of Isaiah 53:3-5

He is despised and rejected of man: a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our grief, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgression, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED. 

You may want to read the entire Chapter fifty three of the book of Isaiah.  Find out some more scriptures on this subject and start to read them aloud and study in this area as well. Study Galatians chapter three as well.  You may want to say a prayer something like this;

Jesus has delivered me from the curse of the law. Sickness is a curse. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit redeemed, cleansed and sanctified by the blood of Jesus. Therefore no sickness can stay in my body. In the name of Jesus I command all sickness and disease to leave my body. Every organ and every tissue of my body function in the way God created you to function and I forbid any malfunction in my body. I believe that I receive healing for my physical body in Jesus name, Amen.


The word Sanctified in the above prayer according the English Dictionary means - declared or made righteous in the sight of God. 
The words redeem means - to buy or pay off.

So learn the principles of faith and use it to do the work of God.  
  
For faith to be active, the following things have to be done.

1. Hear the word of God.

2. Agree with the word of God. There are some people who agree but they only agree mentally. That won’t work. It is the heart faith that will do the job if combined with the word. Take side with the word of God.

3. Accept the word of God. Some people don't do that and they wonder why their faith is not working. It is not working for them because they don't accept the word of God as divine. Settle it in your heart that the word of God is true. There is no error in it. There can be error in translation of the bible but not with God. His word is perfect.    

4. Believe the word of God. Believe it in your heart. 

5. Do the word. In other words put action to your faith. If you were not able to walk - start to walk. You may not feel like walking but do it nevertheless. It’s only when you act on the word of God that you reap great result. 

6. Say it. "I believe that I receive ...."  Say whatever you believe according to the scriptures. 

7. Circumstances and situations may not support you. It may all go against what you believe. In a situation like this, disregard the negative circumstances but believe what the word of God says about you. 

Your physical senses can give you a lot of messages. It can deceive you if you are not careful. For example if you are praying for sickness, your head says that you are still sick whereas the word says that “by his stripes ye were healed". So whose word are you going to believe, your head or the word of God? I am sure you are going to believe what the word says.  Our senses have a role to play when you are learning or enjoying life on this earth. But when it comes to receiving things from God by faith, they come last in our lives. First is the word, second is believe and third is the feeling. 

It is very important that we know from the word of God that what you have asked from Him is His will. There are many things in our life that we are not sure about whether it is Gods will or not. For example, the bible does not specifically say whom you will marry or what type of job you will do. No name or type of job is mentioned for anyone. In a situation like this, it is very important that those people are led by the spirit of God. Gods’ spirit will always lead you to the right direction provided we submit ourselves to God and allow His spirit to help and lead us. If we are serious about what we are praying about and really believe that God will help us in the right direction for marriage, job, investments or buying a house, rest assured that God will direct your footsteps by His spirit.  You will not miss it. It’s Gods pleasure that all His children are led by His spirit. God’s spirit will always do things with His word which is the written word of God.
