Aye khudawand tu ab meri jaan ko chuda

Apni rehmat ki khatir se mujhko bachaa

save me for your mercies sake

Mar ke kaise karoonga tujhe yaad mein

For in death there is no remembrance of You

Kabr mein shukr kaise karoonga ataa

In the grave who will give you thanks

Mein to karhate-2 thak hi gayaa, aur…

I am weary with my groaning

Mere bistar pe hai aasoon ki nami

I drench my couch with my tears

Meri aankhen bhi ro ro ke jaati rahin

My eye wastes away because of grief

Aye mere dushmanon tum yeh sunlo zara

All you workers of inquity, hear me

Mere malik ne sunli meri dua

The Lord has heard the voice of my weeping

Hain woh dushman mere bekaraar aur sharminda

Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly troubled

Rehmat khuda teri rehmat…
